The United Community Church is an international, multi-denominational,
multi-cultural, independent congregation of people united in faith and
service to Jesus Christ. Our membership spans the socio-economic spectrum
and is comprised of approximately one-third permanent residents and two-thirds
persons who have expatriated to Argentina from all corners of the earth.
There are at least seventeen different nationalities from numerous faith
backgrounds within our church family. Ours is truly a blended family of faith.
Our strongest thread of commonality is the conviction that we are one family
in Jesus Christ, the son of God, our Lord and Savior. We are also bound by
the desire to worship in English. For the majority, English is the mother
tongue, and for many others who attend UCC, there is an earnest desire to
acquire English. Another way we look at ourselves is as a "Crossroads Church.
" We know that for the majority of our church families, UCC is only a temporary
stop in their life journey. Rather than see this as a negative, we choose to
see it as a positive by offering those who pass this way a place to receive
nourishment, both in God's love and from the fellowship and community of a
loving church family. For those who are willing to make this their church home,
away from home, the body of UCC has committed itself to equip them for their
next assignment, wherever in the world that might be. We believe that when
people go from UCC, they not only take a piece of us with them, but they take
as well the love and light of Jesus Christ which they can share with another
corner of the world.

What We Believe
At the United Community Church we believe God is the Father Almighty and that Jesus Christ is His one and only Son who died for our sins and was buried and resurrected and that God's Holy Spirit indwells in all who believe in Him.
Our foundation is based upon:
John 3:16-18 and Romans 10:9-11
(NIV translation)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
John 3:16-18
|
" …that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, "anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Romans 10:9-11
