Artisan's Fair: Every November the United Community Church hosts an
Artisan's Fair on our church grounds.
This fair hosts over 150 local artisans that showcase their
original hand crafted items. The items for sale are as varied
as the individual artisans themselves.
All vendors have been hand picked by the UCC
Feria committee and are provided with their own "booth" to
present and sell their handiwork.
This fair generates income that is used for mission and
outreach as well as funding other projects and programs
offered by UCC. read more ...

BABS, the British and American Benevolent Society
oversees the Devoto Home, a primary care geriatric facility.
This is UCC's oldest mission outreach program.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, a pastor or
lay leader and members of the congregation go to the Devoto Home
(aka BABS) to lead a brief worship service and then join the residents
for tea and goodies (furnished by UCC). Each Sunday, the altar flowers,
or another arrangement if the altar flowers have been designated elsewhere,
are sent to the home for the residents' enjoyment.
Volunteers are always appreciated.

The Padrino program is coordinated between UCC and the German
church. Padrinos are persons who sponsor the high school education
of indigent children. Education is only compulsory through the
eighth grade in Argentina. However, with Padrino support, these
children not only have the means to finish high school but also
the opportunity to participate in enrichment education during
periodic weekend workshops. These include computer experience,
dealing-with-life counseling, friendship building, etc.
Sponsors are always needed.
